Octogenarian Beverly Darling Weiler has been playing the piano since she was three years old. In addition to working as a professional pianist for several years, she has enjoyed careers in sales and real estate. Weiler was awarded scholarships to BMI's composition classes and Lehman Engel's musical theatre workshop where Santa's Christmas Tree was composed. This charming holiday story has been featured in 7-Up promotions and has been adapted into an animated television special. Weiler and her husband, Frederic, have three children (Joy, Jim and Cindie). Joy is a professional children's book writer and illustrator who illustrated the storybook version of this title.
