Courtney Meaker’s plays include Buckshot, Chaos Theory: a play seeking order (published with Original Works), Made of These (semifinalist for Bay Area Playwrights Festival and Seven Devils Playwrights Conference 2016), The Lost Girls, Candid International and Tiny Thin Woman Inside. Recently, her play That’swhatshesaid (The Stranger Genius Award nominee) garnered international attention for using female dialogue and stage directions from the most-produced plays in America as its source material. She’s an alumna of Seattle Repertory Theatre’s Writers Group and is currently pursuing her MFA in playwriting through the University of Iowa’s Playwrights Workshop.
