Danna Call's I've Hit an Iceberg premiered at Manhattan Theater Source for the 2003 Estrogenius Festival in New York. It was subsequently produced by Playwrights/Actors Contemporary Theatre, also in New York, in 2004. P.A.C.T. produced her play Issues, a comedy about the fashion industry, in 2005. Her one-woman show Reel Life: Carole Lombard about the 1930's star was performed at One Dream Theatre and Polaris North Theatre, both in New York City. Ms. Call is also the author of the character-driven one-woman shows Excentrix and Spreading the Good Word of Cheese (co-created with William Kevin Young), which was performed at Don't Tell Mama Cabaret and Trilogy Theatre in New York City. She was the co-producer and co-host of eXs & Ohs Productions, which staged themed evenings of original works by actor/writers, in which her own work appeared, all presented in New York City. Some of the themes included eating and drinking, love and money, vice and virtue, and thrills and chills. Her short comedic screenplay Finding a Match was produced by SkyTown Entertainment and is making the film festival circuit. A native of Massachusetts and resident of New York City, Ms. Call holds a bachelor's degree in theatre arts from Emerson College in Boston.
