David Muschell's work as a playwright has resulted in two national and three regional awards including the Southeast Playwrights' Competition and the Little Nashville national play competition. Seven of his plays have been published. His most widely produced play, Mixed Emotions, has been seen in more than 20 states, Canada and Japan. He also writes fiction and non-fiction, with several short stories in The Moonshine Review and two books on word origins: Where in the Word? and What in the Word? (published 1996 by McGuinn & McGuire). Muschell is an assistant professor of English and speech at Georgia College in Milledgeville, Ga.
