Dominic Orlando is a two-time Jerome Fellow and McKnight Advancement Grant winner, both through the Playwrights' Center in Minneapolis. In New York City he's worked with New York Theatre Workshop, HERE (multi-year), the Samuel Beckett (off-Broadway), the Ontological-Hysteric Theater at St. Mark's Church, the New York International Fringe Festival (multi-year) and has been supported by NYCSA (multi-year), ART/NY (multi-year) and The Puffin Foundation Ltd. Regionally, commissions include Actors Theatre of Louisville (Fissures (lost and found)), Berkeley Repertory Theatre (The Barbary Coast) and Guthrie Theater (The Flow). Productions include Danny Casolaro Died for You (Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater) and Fissures (Humana Festival). Internationally, Orlando has worked with the Pasinger Fabrik in Munich and the Tokyo International Arts Festival. He's been a writer-in-residence at the MacDowell Colony (multi-year), the Edward F. Albee Foundation (multi-year), Yaddo, and the Atlantic Center for the Arts (a residency with Paula Vogel). He is a founding producer at the Workhaus Collective, company-in-residence at the Playwrights' Center.
