Elizabeth Otero de Espinoza is a screenwriter and playwright specializing in comedy. Her professional credits include apprentice staff writer on the Playhouse Disney series My Friends Tigger & Pooh and staff writer on the LATV series The Homies Hip Hop Show. De Espinoza is a theatre graduate of the University of New Mexico and is a recipient of the Kennedy Center's Sí TV Latino Playwriting Award. She was awarded a fellowship at the prestigious O'Neill National Playwrights Conference and has participated twice in the National Hispanic Media Coalition's Television Writers Program. Her play Land of Enchantment received a professional reading in the Ford Theatre Foundation's Summer Play Reading Series. De Espinoza resides in New Mexico with her son and husband.
