Ellen Melaver's plays include Not Waving (SPF, Williamstown Theatre Festival), Martha (The Avignon Festival, Teatronetto, and Le Cirque Roman), The Baby & The Brie (New Georges), The Glads (adapted from Dawn Powell, 78th St. Theatre Lab), Inside Out (HERE), Little White Mice from Broken Homes (commissioned and produced by Juilliard), Calendar (published by Smith & Kraus), Moses Supposes (workshop, Marin Theater Company and The Zephyr Theater), Isabelle (Cherry Lane, Westside Theatre, Firehouse Theatre Project) and Next Year in Manhattan (readings, Cherry Lane and Pittsburgh Public Theatre). Melaver is a graduate of the Juilliard School of Music and a recipient of Le Compte du Nouy Award. Her television work includes writing pilots for Spyglass, Touchstone and CBS, and Fox 21/FOX, and as staff writer on What About Brian (ABC) and Paul Reiser's Love Bites (TBS).
