Glenn Mehrbach

Glenn Mehrbach has written the book, music and lyrics for six musicals and composed incidental music for six additional works including The War Brides (International City Theatre), for which he received a Drama-Logue Award. As conductor/arranger for Andrea Marcovicci, Mehrbach has appeared on The Tonight Show, at Carnegie Hall and Town Hall in New York and is represented as a composer on her album New Words, as well as What Is Love. With Marcovicci, he has conducted and arranged for the Santa Rosa, Minnesota, Milwaukee, Fort Worth, Pacific and American Symphony Orchestras and produced and/or arranged her six CDs. Mehrbach is a member of ASCAP and has received awards from them for his work in cabaret and musical theater. His first songbook, Fragile Heart (with artwork by his brother Carl), has been published by Pizza Dreams Publishing. Mehrbach lives in Durham, N.C., with his wife, Deborah, and son, Lennon Jeremy Klinger-Mehrbach (LJ).
