Gordon LePage grew up in northern New Hampshire, in a mill town near the Canadian border. He attended Dartmouth College, graduating with a degree in comparative literature in 1982. He had his first play produced there as part of the Eleanor Frost Playwriting Competition. He holds a master's in romance languages and has been an educator most of his career, having taught in boarding, day and public schools in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Maine. LePage's plays include Don and Wally (A Comedy of an Accidental Visit), My Fair Share of the Sun, The White Devils, A Spanish Irregular Verb, A Quarter Turn and Napoléon au Nouveau Monde. Don and Wally received a finalist award from the East Valley Children's Theatre in 2011and won the Aurand Harris award from the New England Theatre Conference in 2012. Napoléon au Nouveau Monde won the Vermont Playwrights Award in 2014. Both Don and Wally and My Fair Share of the Sun are published by Dramatic Publishing. A young adult novel, Compass, was self-published last year under the pen name Sylvain St. Marie. LePage is a member the Dramatists Guild. He lives with his wife and family on a farm in western Maine.
