Jon Klein is the author of 20 produced plays, which have been produced off-Broadway and at such major regional theaters as South Coast Repertory, Arena Stage, Alley Theatre, Alliance Theatre, Center Stage and A Contemporary Theatre. Actors Theatre of Louisville productions include Betty the Yeti and T Bone N Weasel (HBO New Plays USA Award; film version on TNT). Other plays: Dimly Perceived Threats to the System, Octopus, Peoria, Four Our Fathers, Southern Cross and Losing It (Dramatists Guild/CBS New Play Award). Stage adaptations: Stendhal's The Red and the Black, two Hardy Boys adventures and Bunnicula. Upcoming productions: The Einstein Project (co-author Paul D'Andrea) off-Broadway and Punch in America (musical with Chris Jeffries), co-produced by Woolly Mammouth, Illusion Theatre and The Empty Space.
