Ron Hill attended Pasadena Playhouse in California and served in the air force before graduation from Cal State University San Bernadino with a degree in English education. He taught as a substitute teacher for a few years and then joined the work force, retiring from Honeywell in January 2000. He has been involved in community theatre for more than 50 years as an actor and director. His play, House for Sale, marks his debut as a writer. Hill has four children, six grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Currently he has revived his substitute teaching career and is writing another play.
