Musical arranger William Liberatore is the resident musical director for TheatreWorks, one of the Bay Area's most notable professional theatre companies. He is also the guest conductor for Symphony Silicon Valley, the premier orchestra for the San Jose area. For many years, Liberatore was musical director of the award-winning productions of the American Musical Theatre in San Jose, Calif., one of the country's largest theatre companies. As director of choral activities at Gunn High School in Palo Alto, Calif., he directs four choirs and leads an active department with performances in concerts, musicals and international festivals. Liberatore has been a frequent recipient of the Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award for Best Musical Direction.
