976-Lust: Love blooms on a phone-sex line. End of the Tunnel: A woman relives a harrowing night. Lessons in Fear: The Bogeyman passes the torch to his successor. Samaritan: A good Samaritan meets with resistance. Slightly Left of Paradise: Four women react differently to being shipwrecked on a deserted island. Spirited Behavior: A rookie ghost gets tips from a pro. The Pickup: An overzealous vigilante gets her man.
976-LUST The audience loved it as much as the student director and actors did. The show allowed the cast to work on their physical comedy.
Samaritan Well received. Very good play for an all girl drama club to produce; meaningful, not preachy.
End of the Tunnel: This was an excellent play. The audience was on the edge of their seats. The young lady who played the mother was captivating! I heard several people say that it was Hitchcock-like in its effect.
976-Lust: A hilarious romp that makes you wish it wasn't taking you there, and it doesn't!
Slightly Left: a very funny "I Know Somebody Like That" show with a great selection of characters.
Lessons in Fear: Delightful and silly. Excellent bookend piece to "The Tooth Hurts" (contained in Ten-Minute Theatre by the same author).
Samaritan: This play was well received by our senior audience. The set was simple. Laughs were many, but the message was clever and sincere.
976-LUST: Our audiences loved this play! The staging requirements are minimal, which made it perfect for inclusion in our set of student-directed plays.
Lessons in Fear: The inept protg Leon and the retiring Boogeyman provided great acting opportunities and plenty of laughs.
Lessons in Fear: The key to this is the right Leon (main character). Use this and "The Tooth Hurts" from Ten-Minute Theatre by the same author as opening and closing act for a night of one-acts.
976-LUST: Casting young people who embrace the awkwardness of the characters is essential. We put various lines the girl says on 4 X 6 cards so she could search for an appropriate one and read itÑ"hunk muffin."
We combined this script with Ten-Minute Theatre. This really was a good way to give all of our students a strong part to play.
