Through the Storybook

Rebecca has an active imagination. The vacuum cleaner is a dragon; her dog, with a funnel attached to his nose, is a unicorn; wearing a wig made from a mop, she is Rapunzel. As she sings and dances in her room, her favorite storybook characters enter and treat her like the heroine from their story. Captain Hook thinks she is Wendy and tries to kidnap her, the Big Bad Wolf thinks she is Little Red Riding Hood and tries to eat her, the wicked stepsisters think she is Cinderella and try to beat her, all with lively songs and dances. Here's a play with excitement, beloved characters, a message and a bit of magic. In battling and arguing with these characters, Rebecca realizes the value of parents, grandparents and siblings.
