Jay Thornton received his B.F.A. degree in acting from the University of Nebraska. He studied directing at the University of Washington in Seattle, where he currently resides. Thornton puts his theater education to work at an area junior-high school where he has created a full-time drama program. During the summer, he spends his time writing and working with young actors. Seth's Anxiety is a product of Thornton's work with middle-school students and the types of concerns this age group harbors.
