Synopsis

In the forest, everyone is looking for a friend. Wolfie laments his lack of friends, saying that whenever he meets anyone he likes, he always tries to eat them. Goldilocks wants Little Red Riding Hood's company as she goes for a walk in the forest, but Mrs. Hood says that Goldie is always getting into trouble and refuses permission. With her trusty imaginary friend, Roddy, Little Red travels through the forest on her way to Granny's house, meeting Wolfie along the way. Farther down the path she encounters the singing Pig Sisters, who tell her their experiences with Wolfie and warn her to stay away from him. The hillbilly bears set off to find more honey to go with their porridge and Goldilocks checks out their cottage while they're away. Later the bears come looking for Goldie because Baby Bear wants her for a friend. Wolfie tries to decide whether to take the shortcut to Granny's and eat Little Red or make friends with her. What's a wolf to do? Everyone ends up at Granny's, where the Heimlich maneuver is applied, Wolfie becomes a vegetarian and Little Red becomes his first friend.

"Like 'Fractured Fairy Tales' … It has that contemporary attitude, but it never mocks its source material." -Montgomery County Sentinel
