Synopsis
Auntie is so much smarter than her scheming nieces that, armed only with binoculars and a diary, she can outmaneuver them. For small errands, she has only to pound on the floor and Betty will come charging upstairs from the beauty shop to get peppermints. Niece Louise owns the beauty shop and she wants Auntie out of her spare room. She can get twice the rent from someone else. Two other nieces, Flo and Miriam, are cajoled into agreeing to keep Auntie. Must Auntie leave her room from which, with binoculars, she studies the pawnbroker's shop and sees who's holding hands on the corner? Using the view offered by her window, Auntie proves too formidable for the nieces!
